One of the most important things when you have a home project is communication, otherwise you are in for a not so fun experience. Well these guys know that very well. They were assigned to us by our insurance company and they communicated with us as we worked with our nightmare insurance company. Communicated during the project, and communicated after. I told them exactly what I wanted done and they delivered. They rebuild our walls down in our finished basement, after a sump pump failure and their work was amazing. We hired Core Contractors to refinish our oak floors, which included lacing in new boards to repair damaged sections, sanding, staining, and sealing. I honestly cannot tell where the original floorboards end and the new ones begin because the match is so seamless and perfect. They also replaced all of our baseboards, maintaining the period-appropriate style. This was one thing that really made Core Contractors stand out vs the other GCs that we spoke with. They showed professionalism in the way they stayed true to our vision rather than trying to upsell us on something we didn't want.In addition to the hardwood floors, Core Contractors also carpeted our stairs, a hallway, and two bedrooms. The carpet installation was done with the same level of precision and quality we saw with the hardwood flooring.The efficiency of their team was incredible. They completed all the hardwood flooring work in just four days, and the carpeting was finished in a single day. From our initial outreach to the full completion of the project, everything was wrapped up in about three weeks, which is an amazing turnaround for such extensive work. Core contractors was amazing. We had a tree fall on our house during the bomb cyclone of November 2024. We were able to get in contact with core contractors and between Josh and Roman they got our roof tarped to be safe, coordinated everything through insurance. The roofers were very efficient and courteous and clean and got our roof taken care of very quickly. The siding subcontractors were very much the same and took very good care of us. Roman and Josh kept us in the loop constantly we were always updated as to what's happening and when. Whenever we had questions they were readily available and had the answers for us.
